here’s what it looks like when i try to draw a car
i’m trying to illustrate a scene from my novel-in-progress chasing ghosts where the male lead drives a ’65 impala.
i can’t draw cars…but, compared to the other things i find i can’t do lately…this one, at least, i can use some artistic license with.
I think they look great, artsy! Loved Impalas

thanks! the bamboo pen helps because then it’s looser & i can avoid details.
we had an impala for our family car when i was a kid–back before seat belts & car seats.

Cool! Yes, and the high beam switches were on the floorboards, remember? You switched it on with your foot. We had a maroon Ford Galaxie named Charlie. I think it was a late 60s model.

Oh my god I’m shit at drawing cars. it’s hard to draw something you care nothing about…
Despite what you say, your car sketches look pretty cool.
